It was a proper cat-fight when Weaver faced off against Comer on Thursday. The Weaver Bearcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Comer Tigers, sneaking past 67-65. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bearcats.

Weaver has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Comer, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11.

Weaver has already played their next game, a 77-67 victory against Wellborn on the 3rd. As for Comer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-53 loss against Childersburg on the 1st.
