Desert Christian Academy won the last time they faced Riverside Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Conquerors took down the Silver Knights 25-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Conquerors.

Desert Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cashton Scott led the charge by rushing for 160 yards and one score while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Scott was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards. Eusebio Gallo was another key player, rushing for 55 yards and one TD.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Desert Christian Academy's defense and their five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece. Mauro Pazos was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 19 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Desert Christian Academy has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Riverside Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Desert Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 47-14 win against Desert Mirage on the 5th. As for Riverside Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 28-7 victory against California City on the 5th.
