While Dawson School's win against Twin Peaks Classical Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Timberwolves 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since September 26, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (99-95) Dawson School actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-22, 18-25, 25-19, 15-8.

Sora Payvar paced Dawson School's offense, picking up nine kills. Payvar got some help from Gabby Green and her 15 assists. Cat DeHerrera controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

When it comes to explaining why Twin Peaks Classical Academy lost on Wednesday, don't look at Fernanda Sariana. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and four aces.
