Soccer Recap: Richmond Comes Up Short

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lee County Yellow Jackets. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Yellow Jackets from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lee County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richmond will welcome Porter Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lee County, they will be playing at home against Scotland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
