Softball Game Preview: Jefferson Yellowjackets vs. Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors

For the second straight game, Jefferson will face off against Sergeant Bluff-Luton. The Yellowjackets will venture away from home to challenge the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Jefferson has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 5th.

Jefferson came up short against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on Thursday, falling 18-12. Even if the Yellowjackets couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.8 runs. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.
