Baseball Recap: Greenwood Has No Trouble Against Hurley

Greenwood barely beat Hurley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Jays blew past the Tigers 17-7 on Friday. The Blue Jays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Greenwood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Hurley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15-1 record this season.

Greenwood will head out to square off against Sarcoxie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hurley, they will square off against Chadwick at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
