Basketball Recap: Ragsdale Comes Up Short

Ragsdale was the 35-30 winner over Northwest Guilford when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Ragsdale Tigers took a 41-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Guilford Vikings on Wednesday.

Despite the defeat, Ragsdale saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aaliya Boddie posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Mya Boddie, who earned six points and four steals.

Ragsdale's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Northwest Guilford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Ragsdale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-14 win against Western Guilford on the 14th. As for Northwest Guilford, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-33 defeat against Southwest Guilford on the 14th.
