Basketball Recap: Brownstown Central Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Brownstown Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 57-47 to the Silver Creek Dragons. The Braves were probably out for revenge after losing 63-42 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brownstown Central's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3. As for Silver Creek, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Brownstown Central will finish 2024 at home by hosting Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Silver Creek, they will take on Avon in a tournament on Friday. Avon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.1 points per game this season.
