It was a good run, but Cheatham County Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Harpeth Indians by a score of 6-5. The Cubs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 11-1.

Gracie Weakley was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Mylah Harter also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Cheatham County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Harpeth, they pushed their record up to 3-4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheatham County Central will face off against Hickman County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harpeth, they will square off against Camden Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
