Baseball Recap: Cedar Creek Christian Takes a Loss

Cedar Creek Christian lost against Christ's Church Academy back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cedar Creek Christian Saints came up short against the Christ's Church Academy Eagles, falling 24-1.

Trent Joiner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Cedar Creek Christian's record now sits at 3-10. As for Christ's Church Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Creek Christian will square off against ED White at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christ's Church Academy, they will face off against Duval Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Duval Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
