Ava Alvarez Game Report: vs Homestead

A big congratulations to Ava Alvarez, who topped the rushing century mark for the first time in her career on Friday. She rushed for 101 yards and two TDs on only 12 carries, helping propel Palmetto past Homestead by a score of 12-6. We think that's the best game she's posted since February 22nd, 2024, when she threw for 146 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 54 yards on only six carries.

Looking ahead, Alvarez and Palmetto will face off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last time Alvarez took on the Raiders, she threw for 110 yards and a pair of TDs.
