Football Recap: Framingham Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Framingham had won two straight games and Nicholas Nascimento Duarte did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Flyers enjoyed a cozy 37-20 win over the Durfee Hilltoppers for which the team can thank Nascimento Duarte, who rushed for 178 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 125 rushing yards.

Framingham now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Durfee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Framingham will square off against Brookline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Flyers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Durfee, they will take on Tech Boston Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
