Baseball Recap: Kodiak Comes Up Short

Kodiak's last matchup with Redington could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Bears came up short against the Huskies, falling 10-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 6-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Devin Sharratt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. Jonah Arndt was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Kodiak and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Redington, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

While Kodiak had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
