Millbrook lost to Kettle Run back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Pioneers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 14-7. The game was the first time the Pioneers have beaten the Cougars on their field since September 20, 2019.

Millbrook now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kettle Run, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Millbrook will host Sherando at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kettle Run, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Handley at 1:00 p.m. on October 11.
