Soccer Recap: Summerville Takes a Loss

Summerville was the 3-2 winner over Stall when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Green Wave took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Tuesday.

Summerville has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season. As for Stall, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-9.

Summerville and Stall could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings. The Green Wave will square off against James Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (104 vs. 12). Meanwhile, Stall (ranked 96th) will meet Ashley Ridge (ranked third) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
