Basketball Recap: Summit Tigers vs. Battle Mountain Huskies
Summit had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Battle Mountain Huskies by a score of 47-38. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Tigers were the better team in the second half.
Summit got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Katelynn Smith out in front who posted 14 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in points. Avery Eytel was another key player, putting up five points along with 11 boards and three steals.
