Monadnock is 10-0 against Newport since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Two weeks ago, the stars were shining brightly for Monadnock in a 58-43 win over Hillsboro-Deering. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Newport faced off against Stevens last Friday. Everything went Newport's way against Stevens as Newport made off with a 61-37 victory.

Newport now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Monadnock, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Monadnock strolled past Newport in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 84-67. The rematch might be a little tougher for Monadnock since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
