Softball Recap: Ganado Has No Trouble Against El Campo

Ganado had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the El Campo Ricebirds on Thursday as the Ganado Indians made off with a 10-3 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Paisley Hajovsky, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madisyn Weempe, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

El Campo now has a losing record of 0-1-1.
