Soccer Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Comes Up Short

Raymore-Peculiar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Staley Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Staley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on October 7th.

Raymore-Peculiar's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Staley, the win snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

Raymore-Peculiar wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Lee's Summit West on the 1st. As for Staley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Park Hill on the 3rd.
