Baseball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mason County on Thursday, Frankfort came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 12-2 to the Henry Clay Blue Devils on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since March 21st.

Jonathan Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Frankfort's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Henry Clay, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankfort will take on Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henry Clay, they will challenge Madison Southern at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
