Georgetown posted their biggest win since February 19th on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hanks Knights as the Georgetown Eagles made off with a 52-29 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Knights are ranked 935th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hanks' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sebastian Meraz, who posted 11 points, and Zeke Carreon, who earned six points.

The win got Georgetown back to even at 5-5. As for Hanks, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Georgetown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-35 victory against Midway on the 6th. Hanks has also already played their next contest, a 52-40 defeat against Smithson Valley on the 6th.
