Volleyball Recap: Aubryn Keller Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Blackford

Norwell won the last time they faced Blackford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights blew past the Bruins 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Norwell was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13, 25-12.

Norwell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aubryn Keller, who had five aces. Those five aces gave Keller a new career-high.

Keller wasn't the only good server: Norwell was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blackford only served two aces.

Norwell's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Blackford, they moved to 5-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Norwell will head out on the road to face off against Eastbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Blackford, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Heritage Christian on the 13th.
