Basketball Recap: Wooster Comes Up Short

Wooster lost against Copley back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wooster Generals took a 69-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Copley Indians. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wooster's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Copley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wooster will head out to face off against New Philadelphia at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. New Philadelphia will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Wooster surely won't give up without a fight. As for Copley, they will head out on the road to square off against Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
