Basketball Game Preview: Hampton Christian Academy Warriors vs. Life Christian Academy Eagles

The Hampton Christian Academy Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Life Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hampton Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Hampton Christian Academy came up short against Portsmouth Christian and fell 63-51.

Despite their loss, Hampton Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Bryce Harris, who posted 17 points, was perhaps the best of all. Harris' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kobe America was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Meanwhile, Life Christian Academy had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Veritas School by a score of 60-50 on Tuesday.

Hampton Christian Academy better keep an eye on Clarence Harris. He was instrumental in Life Christian Academy's win, going 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Perkins, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 10 points and six blocks.

Life Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Hampton Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
