Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairhope). Everything went their way against the Theodore Bobcats on Saturday as the Fairhope Pirates made off with a 15-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won six in a row.

Briley Bolden was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Anna Bumpers, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Fairhope hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in three consecutive contests.

Fairhope now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Theodore, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Fairhope didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 win against Elberta on the 8th. As for Theodore, they will square off against St. Paul's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
