Ouray not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 8th (when they won 61-25). They blew past the West Grand Mustangs 58-29. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-13.

Cavan Pasek was a one-man wrecking crew as he dropped a double-double with 29 points and 17 boards. Another player making a difference was Wesley Rhoades, who posted 13 points.

Ouray was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Grand only posted eight.

West Grand's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hugo Gonzalez, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Ouray has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 50.5 points this season. As for West Grand, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
