Softball Recap: Hebron Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hebron can now relate to. They fell just short of the Allen Eagles by a score of 7-5 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hawks have suffered since February 13th.

Lilly Pirrello made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 23-10. As for Allen, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.

While Hebron had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
