West Marion stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over the Columbia Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Marion.
Izzy Pittman made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Pittman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Pittman was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
In other batting news, Gracie Odom was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI. Kady Stringer was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
