Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Pendleton County was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Campbell County Camels, falling 12-2. The Wildcats have struggled against the Camels recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Pendleton County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kevin Miles, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Pendleton County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Campbell County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Pendleton County will challenge Rowan County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Campbell County, they will host Mercer County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
