Football Recap: Carter Trotman's Menacing Defense Leads Tamaqua over Bangor

Tamaqua got themselves on the board against Bangor on Friday, but Bangor never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Slaters. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tamaqua found their leader in sophomore Terrence McDowell Jr, who rushed for 188 yards and one touchdown. McDowell Jr's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards.

Tamaqua's defense didn't let Lincoln Rehrig., get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Carter Trotman with three sacks. He also made four total tackles, which is notable because Tamaqua is 2-1 when he posts at least three total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise.
