Riverside had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Princeton on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitcher stepped up to hand the Tigers  a   15-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven  runs or more this season.
 Haylee Mullins was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news, Riverside got a  massive  performance out of  Shaylea Blackhurst, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Riley Smith, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Riverside  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Princeton didn't  got any hits.
Riverside's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-6. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Princeton, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will host South Charleston  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Princeton, they will face off against Independence at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 10.1  runs per game this season.
