Basketball Recap: Worthington Christian Takes a Loss

Worthington Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buckeye Valley Barons. The match was a 24-24 toss-up at halftime, but the Warriors couldn't quite close it out.

Worthington Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Buckeye Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Worthington Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-46 loss against Bishop Ready on the 10th. Buckeye Valley has also already played their next contest, a 54-46 defeat against Whitehall-Yearling on the 10th.
