Baseball Recap: Burrillville Broncos vs. Ponaganset Chieftains
Burrillville came out on top against Ponaganset on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Broncos blew past the Chieftains 8-0. Considering the Broncos have won four games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Cam Laramee made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
