Basketball Game Preview: Broad Run Spartans vs. Stone Bridge Bulldogs

Broad Run is 2-8 against Stone Bridge since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Broad Run Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Stone Bridge Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Broad Run knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Stone Bridge likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Broad Run was able to grind out a solid victory over Millbrook, taking the game 62-54.

Meanwhile, Stone Bridge waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Phoenix by a score of 73-63.

Stone Bridge pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Broad Run, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Broad Run couldn't quite finish off Stone Bridge in their previous meeting back in January and fell 58-55. Can Broad Run avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
