Basketball Game Preview: North Thurston Rams vs. Bellarmine Prep Lions

The North Thurston Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Bellarmine Prep Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Thurston knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Bellarmine Prep likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Thurston beat River Ridge 68-64.

Micah Anderson was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 14 on his way to 23 points and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024. Kurt Cavalier was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 12 points.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Bellarmine Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell to Lincoln 57-53.

Bellarmine Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for North Thurston, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

North Thurston came up short against Bellarmine Prep in their previous meeting back in January, falling 54-45. Can North Thurston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
