Baseball Game Preview: Seneca Indians vs. Lebanon Yellowjackets

The Seneca Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Lebanon Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Seneca is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

While Seneca's victory against Aurora wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians skirted past the Houn Dawgs 5-4.

Meanwhile, Lebanon never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on Waynesville with a sharp 11-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

Seneca's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lebanon, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Seneca skirted past Lebanon 2-1 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
