Baseball Recap: Menlo School Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Menlo School was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of King's Academy. Menlo School was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as King's Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Menlo School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Flanagan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Those three hits gave Flanagan a new career-high.

Menlo School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for King's Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Menlo School didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 loss against Aptos on the 15th. As for King's Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Capuchino on the 19th.
