Volleyball Recap: Midland Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Midland Classical Academy lost against Lubbock Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lubbock Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 22-25, 25-19.

Midland Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Lubbock Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Midland Classical Academy will take on rival Trinity Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lubbock Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Lake Country Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
