Baseball Recap: Valhalla Comes Up Short

Valhalla lost against Granite Hills on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Norsemen came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-2. The Norsemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mace Wheeler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Valhalla's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Granite Hills, the win keeps they at an undefeated 16-0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valhalla will challenge rival El Capitan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Granite Hills is set to square off against their familiar foe Helix at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 1.8, the Highlanders 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
