Basketball Game Preview: Profile Patriots vs. Epping Blue Devils

The Profile Patriots will head out to challenge the Epping Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Profile will be strutting in after a victory while Epping will be coming in after a defeat.

Profile took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Lin-Wood 47-23.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-10, which was the final score in Epping's tilt against Newmarket on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Mules: they've now lost six in a row.

Profile's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Epping, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Profile beat Epping 25-16 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
