Bearden has gone a perfect 3-0 against Strong recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bears will challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Tuesday. Bearden came up short against Bradley, falling 19-4. The defeat continues a trend for Bearden in their meetings with Bradley: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Strong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 21-5 to Emerson.

Bearden now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Strong, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Bearden skirted past Strong 1-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2017. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
