Volleyball Recap: St. Helens Lions vs. Crook County Cowboys
St. Helens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crook County Cowboys. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2015.
The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14.
St. Helens' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Crook County, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-4.
St. Helens will face off against Astoria at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crook County has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Central on the 5th.
