Basketball Recap: Laurel Takes a Loss

Laurel and East Helena squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Laurel had to settle for second. They came up short against the East Helena Vigilantes, falling 64-38. The Locomotives have struggled against the Vigilantes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for East Helena, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Laurel nor East Helena have any future games scheduled.
