Basketball Recap: Irvin Comes Up Short

If Irvin was feeling good fresh off their 61-41 takedown of Harmony School of Innovation last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Irvin Rockets lost 59-38 to the Austin Panthers on Friday. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-48 back in January.

Irvin has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season. As for Austin, their win bumped their record up to an identical 14-11.

Irvin will be playing at home against Harmony Science Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Austin has already played their next match (against Harmony School of Innovation), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
