Meanwhile, Mechanicsburg entered their matchup against Chambersburg on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Mechanicsburg couldn't push the score so high this time.

Mechanicsburg's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-2. As for Carlisle, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6-2 and their overall record up to 2-8-2.
