Pacific Grove has gone 8-2 against King City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Breakers will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Grove is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Pacific Grove got the win against Rancho San Juan by a conclusive 12-2. Considering the Breakers have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, King City unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to Alisal.

Pacific Grove's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for King City, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Pacific Grove took their victory against King City when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Breakers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
