Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) has had some big-time quarterbacks in the past.

Up next is 2021 USC commit Miller Moss joining notable names like Todd Marinovich, Matt Leinart, Matt Barkley, JT Daniels and Bryce Young.

It was reported on Twitter that Miller is transferring from Alemany (Mission Hills, Calif.) to finish his high school career for the Santa Ana power.

He threw for 3,118 yards and 28 touchdowns while completing over 67 percent of his passes in his junior season. The Warriors finished last year 9-3 and lost to Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, Calif.) in the CIF Southern Section Division 3 semifinals.

We're releasing our Top 25 preseason rankings on June 15 and the Monarchs are on the short list to be ranked No. 1.

Miller joins a talented roster that includes 2021 LSU commit Raesjon Davis, 4-star cornerback Jaylin Davies, 2021 Oregon commit Kyron Ware-Hudson, 5-star cornerback Domani Jackson, 4-star wide receivers Cristian Dixon and CJ Williams, along with the top-rated running back in the Class of 2022, Raleek Brown, who also transferred in the offseason.
