Soccer Recap: Shepard Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Shepard was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Argo Argonauts. If Shepard were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to Argo when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Shepard has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games. That lines up perfectly with their 5-16-1 record this season. As for Argo, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season.

Shepard didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Chicago Washington on the 15th. Argo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
