Basketball Recap: Anamosa Takes a Loss

Anamosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Bellevue Comets, falling 63-34. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Comets earlier this season, when they won 46-34.

Anamosa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Bellevue, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anamosa will venture away from home to square off against Starmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Anamosa is facing Starmont at the right time seeing as Starmont is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Bellevue, they will face off against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bellevue will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Northeast will have lost seven straight heading into Friday's contest.
