Baseball Game Preview: Everett Vikings vs. Holt Rams

Everett hasn't had much luck against Holt recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Vikings will head out to square off against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Everett has given up an average of 21 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Everett fell victim to East Lansing and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 25-0.

Holt came out on top against Waverly on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Rams put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 7-1 victory. The Rams not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9th (when they won 11-3).

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Holt, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9.

Everett might still be hurting after the 18-2 defeat they got from Holt in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
